Plastic Pollution Science Cafe – January 26

Plastic bag in the water

Want to learn about plastic pollution and the litter we’re finding on our local beaches? Curious about the impacts of plastic pollution on the health of humans and wildlife? Join us on Thursday, January 26, for a Plastic Pollution Science Cafe in collaboration with Gundalow Company!

Our featured speakers include Danielle Kamberalis, our Marine Debris Program Lead, and Dr. Gabriela Bradt, Fisheries Extension Specialist with NH Sea Grant. Each speaker will do a brief presentation, then we’ll take questions from the audience!

The event will be held at Throwback Brewery in North Hampton, NH, and we’ll also be live-streaming via Zoom for those who wish to join from the comfort of their own home!

Registration is closed. In-person seats are sold out. Thank you for your interest! Please e-mail info@blueoceansociety.org if you would like to watch via Zoom or receive a recording of the presentation.

Registration is free, but donations are appreciated. Donations are tax-deductible and will be split 50/50 between us and Gundalow Company. We’ll both have staff and information at the event and would love to talk with you about our events, programs, and volunteer opportunities!
