NH Gives has started! Thanks to the NH Charitable Foundation and its donors, the first $250,000 in gifts will be matched!!
Donate NowNH Gives is a 24-hour giving day for non-profits across the state. Our goal is to raise at least $3,000 to help us to continue achieving our mission during these challenging times.
Like many other organizations, we find ourselves in a challenging time. We’ve had canceled programs and events. We need to rapidly adapt our work to continue to protect marine life and reach our audience. Funds raised during NH Gives will allow us to:
- Protect local whales through continuing over 20 years of research. Anticipating fewer whale watches, we seek funds to conduct dedicated survey cruises. These will help track the health of local whales and changes that may happen during the pandemic.
- Support marine debris research and cleanup. We’ll create protocols for safe cleanups, continue our microplastics research, and inspire action so that we can enjoy clean beaches and benefit wildlife.
- Provide STEM opportunities for students. We’ll continue adapting our programs and offering virtual learning opportunities. Your help will also support our summer interns in starting their careers in marine biology and conservation.
Times are tough now, but we envision a brighter future. Thank you for being part of it!
