New Hampshire Coastal Cleanup – Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who participated in New Hampshire Coastal Cleanup 2022!

A Recap

We set a goal to clean every beach in the state during the month of September for the New Hampshire Coastal Cleanup 2022. We are happy to share 438 people helped us remove 20,151 pieces of debris from the beach weighing in at 443 pounds!

You helped us clean a beach 43 times in the month of September!

While we didn’t meet our original goal of cleaning EVERY beach in NH, we are impressed with the amount of time you spent cleaning the beach! We just barely missed our original goal: every beach was cleaned in September except North Hampton State Beach.

We don’t know why no one wanted to clean this small, beautiful bit of coastline, but we do know that we cleaned many of New Hampshire’s most littered beaches multiple times. You helped us clean Foss Beach 5 times and Hampton Beach more than 20 times!

Get Involved

  • Adopt A Beach! Want to make a commitment to spending time outdoors, serving your community, and protecting marine life? Choose a beach and clean it once a month. We provide the supplies and the know-how, and you help marine life!
It takes a team effort to clean even half of Hampton Main Beach. That’s exactly what happened on the Granite United Way Day of Caring!
