Want a fun way to spend a cool Saturday?  Join us in the cozy environs of the Seacoast Science Center for our Marine Science Educator Symposium!

Whether you’re a formal educator or just love sharing your passion for the ocean with others, there’ll be something for you at this event.   Learn about local volunteer and educational program opportunities… try your hand at sifting sand for microplastics… see how far plastic can travel… learn how a whale watch can inspire students to protect the ocean… and about how the local marine mammal rescue team operates.  Weather permitting, we’ll also feature an experience with our life-sized inflatable whale, along with a beach cleanup!
