Save Our Shores Open Water Swim, Presented by The Lawson Group

An Epic Event to Benefit the Ocean

THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this event! The swim was an amazing success, with all swimmers finishing their intended swim. We raised over $20,000! Scroll down to see some images from this event.

Thank you swimmersboaters, support crew, sponsors, donors, Seacoast Paddleboard Club, beach cleanup volunteers, and everyone who came out to support this event!

On Sunday, August 20, nine swimmers and three relay teams will swim from the Isles of Shoals to the mainland to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Seacoast’s Save our Shores effort. This effort stopped an oil refinery operation from being developed on the Seacoast and in the Gulf of Maine.

Each team has committed to raising at least $500 to benefit Blue Ocean Society’s research, education, and conservation programs. The funds will be used to protect the waters we all enjoy. Support their epic 7.5 mile swim by donating today!
