Love the ocean? Join us for our 3rd Annual World Oceans Day Celebration in Hampton Beach!

Saturday, June 2, 2018

9:00 AM: Run for the Ocean 5K: The unique race is half on the beach, half on the sidewalk. Enjoy beautiful ocean views the whole way! Put together a team of 8 or more and receive a $5 discount on registration! We’ll have great prizes, including prizes for fastest runners, biggest fundraisers, best costume and most litter picked up during the race.

10:30 AM: Beach Cleanup: All supplies are provided. Families, individuals and large and small groups are all welcome!

All Day:  Blue Ocean Discovery Center
Visit our Blue Ocean Discovery Center and get a sneak peek at our new exhibits for 2018! Touch tanks, displays, and activities for all ages.

All proceeds benefit our mission to protect marine life in the Gulf of Maine through research, education and inspiring action.

  • Register for the Race!  Online registration opens March 1, 2018 – Start getting a team together!   First 150 registrants receive our exclusive cotton race t-shirt (note: we don’t use tech shirts as they are made of plastic)!   Registration discount available for those who register before May 21 or are part of a team of 8 or more. Online registration closes at noon on June 1. Day-of registration available for $30 starting at 7 AM Saturday, June 2 at our registration tent, which is located near the Sea Shell stage.
