Pinball is a female
humpback who was born in 1989 to a whale named Linar. She is one of
the most commonly sighted humpbacks in our area. Our
researchers have seen Pinball every year since 1997!
She
was named because of the circular black markings on her tail which
look like pin balls. She has brought three calves to our area
in the summer, including Wand (1997), Whirley-gig (2000) and an
as-yet-unnamed calf in 2003.
Pinball is also one of the humpbacks we have available for adoption.
