  "Cosmos"
  Cosmos the humpback

Cosmos was first sighted as an adult in 2000.  We do not know Cosmos is a male or a female.  This whale got its name from the round barnacle scars and comet-like markings on its tail that reminded researchers of an image of the universe.

Cosmos was sighted in summer 2004 feeding on Jeffreys Ledge.
