Earth Day Events & Annual Peirce Island Cleanup
In conjunction with City of Portsmouth's Celebration of the Earth

10 AM-12 PM: Clean up
at South Mill Pond, Portsmouth
Meet at the Children's Tent (a tent with a blue top) in front of
the Middle School.
Also check out the Earth Day fair in the Portsmouth Middle School
and visit our life-sized inflatable fin whale!
1-3 PM: 5th Annual
Cleanup at Peirce Island, Portsmouth
Family-friendly event with a cleanup of the island, kid's scavenger
hunt, touch tank on site, water demonstration by Water Guardians,
dog biscuits for sale by Barkin' Biscuit (pick up your free biscuit
and "scoop the poop pledge card, too!),
refreshments provided by Portsmouth Flatbread Company, Stonyfield
Farm, Starbucks and
Poland Spring (while
supplies last), and more!
Meet near the parking lot just past the Portsmouth City Pool.
Free parking available.

Earth Day Celebration at Rye Harbor State Park

1-3 PM: Meet at the Rye
Harbor State Park pavilion for a cleanup of Ragged Neck and the
surrounding area. There will be musical entertainment provided by
Sylvan Roots, refreshments
provided by the Oaks Golf Links, children's activities, information on our programs, and
more!
Meet at Rye Harbor State Park pavilion. Free parking available.
